Miss Universe Colombia 2011, Catalina Robayo is in trouble for not wearing underwear to public appearances. Miss Universe 2011 contestant reminded to wear underwear while in public

A Miss Universe contestant is in trouble with pageant officials for showing up at events without underwear. Contest bigwigs have warned Colombia's Catalina Robayo to stop making appearances in tiny skirts with nothing on underneath.

UNDERWEAR IS NOT OUTERWEAR

"Colombia had to be spoken to and told she needed to wear underpants as what she was doing was totally inappropriate," a source told Fox News. "People have been pretty upset by it; there have been photos and media appearances where she has completely had her crotch out." Robayo is one of 89 women competing for the crown in the contest.

The glitzy pageant, one of the jewels in Donald Trump's crown, airs Monday night, Sept. 12. The gorgeous brunette won't be the only queen caught in an embarrassing situation. Carrie Prejean, the 2009 Miss California and Miss USA runner-up, faced public humiliation when her semi-nude photographs were released online shortly after she won the state pageant crown. In 2006, the Miss USA winner Tara Conner entered rehab after she struggled with drugs and alcohol while she held the crown. Trump refused to fire either one for those incidents.

"I've always been a believer in second chances," he said at a press conference. "Tara is a good person. Tara tries hard." Like the other scandal-fallen ladies of Trump's pageants, Robayo could be a boon to business, Fox pointed out. "Our supervisors talked to all of the contestants about dressing appropriately, and one of our PR people spoke to [Robayo] and apparently she said she was wearing underwear," Miss Universe President Paula Shugart said. "But regardless, it created quite a stir here for a few days."
